We used the existing kitchen cabinets to build this kitchenette in the basement. The cabinets, sink, and microwave are all from the old kitchen, but the owner chose a new countertop to match the existing basement paint colors. This kitchenette completed the “In-Law” apartment and also allows the grandchildren to have a convenient place to pop popcorn when they are watching movies in the basement family room.
